This is interesting, instead of one CEO to introduce the Verizon iPhone, it took two VPs. I wonder where Steve Jobs and Ivan Seidenberg were. I wonder why..
Verizon iPhone to Offer 5 Device Mobile Hotspot

A key feature for Verizon over AT&T's iPhone is the 5 Mobile HotSpot ability. This lets you give your internet connectivity to other devices including iPod Touches, and Computers. On AT&T you have to pay for this ability.
No Data and Talking on Verizon iPhone

In the Q&A section of the Verizon iPhone announcement, a member of the press asked if it was possible to talk while surfing on the web was possible. To our surprise the answer was no, like all other CDMA phones. There are only two differences between the AT&T iPhone and the Verizon iPhone which are the buttons on the side and this issue, surfing the web while talking.
Tim Cook makes surprise Appearance

At Veriozn's press conference for the iPhone 4, Tim Cook made a surprise appearance to help announce the iPhone 4 on Verizon. Unlike all other iPhone related press conference Steve Jobs did not show up.

Well wasn't that a surprise. Today at Verizons press conference they just announced the Verizon iPhone. The new iPhone 4 will be available for pre-order in February, and you can have it in your hand on the 10th.
Verizon iPhone Deal Could Cost 5 Billion

Analyst are starting to crunch their numbers on what a future iPhone deal for Verizon would cost, since the realize today it is coming. John Hodulik, an analyst at UBS AG told Business Week that Verizon could sell 13 Million iPhones in the U.S., costing over 5.2 Billion dollars in subsidies to Apple (if they match AT&T's price). Excited for whats going to happen Tuesday at 11.00 AM (EST)? So are we. Check back here around that time for an overview of whats going to happen. Today exactly 10 years ago iTunes was born. I'm sure most of year can't even remember life with out iTunes. But back then iTunes and the iPod just came out, they were told they were going to be failures. Nobody new how many of these were going to sell or how popular they were going to be.
